Types and names of lip piercings

A horizontal labret in the form of a crystal or a tiny metal droplet looks neat and modest, but a vertical or horizontal puncture with a massive banana or a barbell looks much more provocative. Low Bret
Something in between a lower lip and chin piercing. In this case, the decoration is located lower than with the labret, closer to the edge of the lower jaw.
Frenum piercing, or smile
In this case, the jewelry is inserted into the bridle of the upper or lower lip, it is not visible when the mouth is closed. Along with the vertical and horizontal labret, this is one of the most painful piercings. It looks very impressive and a little aggressive.

What jewelry is used for lip piercing?
- Barbell. Universal piercing jewelry – suitable for almost all types of piercing, except for the smiley. It is a metal rod with balls at the ends.
- Labret. Looks much like a barbell, only with a disc instead of a ball at one end. This part of the jewelry is the “purl” part and is always on the inside of the lip. Like the barbell, it is an almost universal piece of jewelry.
- Banana. A type of barbell with a curved shaft. Most often used for types of puncture labret and smile.

THE PIERCING PROCEDURE SHOULD FOLLOW APPROXIMATELY THE FOLLOWING SCHEME:
1. The client chooses the jewelry he likes from those offered by the master.
2. The master advises the client about what should not be done for some time after the puncture (eating very spicy or very salty food, drinking too hot tea or coffee, drinking alcohol, smoking). And also learns about the nuances of the client’s health that can affect the piercing or its healing.
3. The master takes away the jewelry to be sterilized in an autoclave along with tissues, a disposable piercing needle and gloves.
4. While sterilization is in progress, the client fills out a questionnaire in which he provides detailed information about his health and studies the care instructions, which he takes with him.
5. Sterilization is complete. The client goes to the office.

LIP PIERCING – HEALING AND CARE
The initial healing time after such a procedure takes about four weeks. Procedure
1). You have come to the master, lie down on the couch or sofa

One more point: in no case, do not peel the dried flesh with your nails from the earring! If you really need to wash it, then remove it for ten minutes and put it in a sodium chloride solution, then gently wipe it with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol or calendula solution. You need to process such a piercing of the lower lip twice a day (that is, in the morning and in the evening) for a month, so do not think that if the puncture does not hurt, then it has already healed, since the tissues inside the puncture will fully recover only after a month.
If you have done a vertical or horizontal, then you need to scroll the earring, washing the puncture with a solution of sodium chloride . It is not recommended to pull out the earring, since the puncture has not yet healed and it will immediately begin to bleed and can become very inflamed, and such a puncture with inflammation is fraught with serious complications.
